Alternate ROOTS served us the last workshop.
I have endless gratitude for all the learning we had passed to us as members of the Year 3 cohort. I have always held New Orleans with the utmost regard because to me nothing is more layered than the formations of USA than these varied layers of suffering/joy/ritual/rebirth/ancestral knowledges than this city. I feel honored to have been blessed with ALL THE KNOWLEDGES.
Highlights were the conversations about confronting anti-blackness, @dancinggrounds youth schooling us on how to be better leaders, the discussions around gender…. Seriously has me flooded with gratitude. These @weareili trainings have changed me forever.
