Avery Herrman-Sakamoto

Hi there! My name is Avery Herrman-Sakamoto and I was born and raised in Séet Ká, widely known as Petersburg here in southeast. Growing up I was taught was racism was, and how that would influence my life, and I decided at a young age that I would do everything in my power to spread cultural awareness and to dismantle systemic racism. I’m very fortunate at 21 years old to spend my time working towards these goals, and I’m excited to see what I can do to make the world a safe place for everyone
