I am a Dallas artist and space maker exploring untold histories of space, place, and people of the region. A third-generation Dallasite, daughter of organizers, artists who have deep knowledge of black Dallas. Through her work with the Ballad of Jane Elkins, exploring life of the first documented black women lynched in Dallas, to teaching at the South Dallas Cultural, she has been a vocal advocate for telling the history of Black Dallas in North Texas. Currently serving as a Cultural Arts Partner, doing workshops in oral history and photojournalism for community history to be told, protected, and transformed.
