Constanza Mendoza

Constanza Mendoza-Guerra (she/ella) is an arts administrator, consultant, and facilitator originally from Venezuela. She draws on her lived experiences as a Latina immigrant and community-organizing background to advance people-centered and justice-driven approaches in art collectives and organizations. Her commitment to imagining inclusive and healthy labor practices motivated her to start terra cotta, a creative consulting agency that supports art makers, culture bearers, and arts organizations that work at the intersection of art-making, program impact, and social justice. She also writes short stories and free-verse poetry and is part of the Taller Caracoleando by Chicago Art Department, contratiempo, and Caracol.
