I am a child of war and trauma and have done my best to mitigate my existence by contributing to communities in service leadership. I was taught at a young age that I must contribute to my family, my community, and then all else will follow. I moved around my entire life, and have been impacted by the strengths and the struggles of the cultures that surround me. One of my proudest roles was a special needs educator in Hawai’i, navigating wealth, and health disparities. I’m also a housing justice advocate, Legislative District Chair, and passed Social Housing in Seattle.
