Gael Luna ( they/them) is a trans queer immigrant artist and community organizer based in Albuquerque, NM. Originally from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, they migrated to the United States at the age of seven. Hernandez is a multimedia artist that utilizes digital art, design, and photography to convey stories of New Mexican, LGBTQ+ people, and immigrant communities. They capture the lives of people in connection to their sexuality, gender, culture, and the places they make home. Hernandez aims to use their art to create conversations that can shift hearts and minds.
