Kaʻiu lani Takamori is a native Hawaiian artist who has also been studying hula for the past 12 years under kumuhula Vicky Holt Takamine, and is currently undergoing training and is planning on graduating through the rituals of hula (Hawaiian dance) as an lapa (master dancer) and hoʻopaʻa (master chanter and drummer) in 2017. Kaʻiu is also the Folk Arts Coordinator for PAʻI Foundation. She is in charge of the implementation of MAMo: Maoli Arts Movement. Kaʻiu is also a Colorguard Tech with the Maui High School Marching Band and Colorguard.
