Kahoku Lindsey-Asing

He wahi aloha keia ia ‘oukou e na hoa makamaka o neia honua maoli ola! My name is Kahoku Lindsey-Asing. I am helping to perpetuate the Hawaiian Language. Born on the big island of Hawai’i, Hawaiian was my first language, as it is the language of my ‘ohana. My education began at Punana Leo o Waimea Hawaiian Medium Education Preschool, then into the Kamehameha Schools. I continued at Kapi’olani Community College and the University of Hawai’i at Manoa; obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Hawaiian Language. I am currently the Kahu of Punana Leo o Manoa. E ola ka ‘olelo Hawai’i!
