Keala resides/cares for Oʻahu in Hawaiian Islands. Equipped with decades of formal training in classical and contemporary ballet and a BA in Dance from the UC Irvine, she has since branched out to many other disciplines of dance and movement. She has performed and shared dance in LA, Hawaii, NYC, Utah, Washington, South Dakota, New Zealand, and Shanghai and currently dances for Tau Dance Theater, Dancers Unlimited and Cherry Blossom Cabaret burlesque. She loves creating works and dancing her stories celebrating her relationship with the land and natural processes, and furthering her social justice causes through dance and collaboration.
