Papa Ola Lōkahi

Lilinoe Kauahikaua serves Papa Ola Lōkahi, the Native Hawaiian Health Board, under Hale Hoʻonaʻauao (The Learning Institute), as a Population Health Specialist focusing on addictions, mental health, and social justice. 

Lilinoe is a 2021 graduate of the Masters of Social Work program at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her research includes data disaggregation, and Indigenous approaches to mental health, reentry, incarceration, and substance misuse. 

Lilinoe is from Piʻihonua, Hawaiʻi but has lived and grown in many other spaces.  She returned home to serve her lāhui over 10 years ago and is committed to pursuing social justice for the Native Hawaiian Community.
