I am an interdisciplinary artist making site-specific performance and project art. My book Performing Revolutionary: Art, Action, Activism was published in print (2018) and audio (2022). I have lived, taught, and performed in the US, Mexico, Denmark, UK, Germany, Portugal, and Russia. In 2019-2020, I spent 4 months in Russia as a CEC ArtsLink artist in residence. Originally from Chicago, I now live in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, where I am a member of Alternate ROOTS; an Appalachian Teaching Artist; a Master Trainer with TimeSlips Creative Storytelling; and the Artist-in-Residence at Higher Ground in Harlan, Kentucky.
