Shadoe Rayne is a Tsimshian and Alutiiq vocalist and songwriter. She is passionate about weaving her endangered native language into her songs through interactive performances. She loves to create a healing environment with her sound through the use of drums, soaring vocals, transformation based songs, and events focused on historical awareness. Also central to her work is the creation of the Beats and Bones Women’s Healing Choir. This group is a singing circle for women that brings a new mode of healing to the Boise community through storytelling and primal roots music.
