Sonia Erika is the daughter of laborers, formerly undocumented laborers.
She is a student of the world, born in Mexico and raised in the Midwest and the East Coast until receiving papers. After 21 years as an “illegal alien” Sonia finally went back to Mexico, and then continued traveling and living Peru and Brazil.
Her creative practices range from digital global story telling through music, websites, graphics and social media, to traveling and helping the development and branding of businesses.
