Vynetta A. Morrow is a storyteller, poet, teaching artist, and community engagement specialist. With experience as an educator and youth services library professional, Vynetta brings over 20 years of legacy work with a sharp focus on Black History, information and media literacy, authentic story-gathering and story-telling, and community engagement. A 2013 Fellow of the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission (RAC) Community Arts Training Institute, Vynetta A. Morrow received a 2014 RAC Artist Support Grant to attend Urban Bush Women Summer Leadership Institute 2014. Vynetta’s poem, The Beat & The Cause appears in the Brick City Poetry Anthology, Crossing the Divide.
