Yadhira Lozano has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit arts world in San Antonio and Los Angeles. She attended the University of Southern California and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Her dedication to social activism, art, and culture led her to event planning, marketing and public relations. She honed her skills at Epson Latin America where she worked in a multilingual setting at the forefront of the latest technology. For a decade, she served as Public Relations Director at the Autry National Center fielding coverage for two museums, libraries, theatre company, festivals, and countless events.
Yadhira returned to San Antonio in 2013 to launch the Briscoe Museum as Head of Communications and project managed its grand opening. Yadhira joined Guadalupe Cultural Arts in 2017 to produce the Tejano Conjunto Festival engaging audiences in the US, Mexico, and foreign countries. Yadhira serves on the City of San Antonio’s Art Commission, is Chair of the Centro de Artes art gallery, and is the Executive Director of Luminaria, an arts organization dedicated to producing and promoting the arts to the city of San Antonio.
