Christopher D. Sims is an internationally known poet, spoken word performer, and community organizer. He is also a race relations expert and a lay minister who speaks on social justice issues throughout the country. A Black Lives Matter national and community voice, as well as a collaborator and organizer, he has cultivated his writing and performance styles with the guidance of the rap/hip-hop genre, as well as the 1960s and 1970s Black spoken word and power movement to reach the masses. Also, an educator and consultant who teaches individuals and organizations about writing, performance art, and antiracism tactics and the history of this country regarding race and race relations. Christopher Sims writes with intellect, passion, and fire, and performs from that same foundation.
