Ka Oskar Ly is a multidisciplinary HMong artist and cultural producer. They create experiences ranging from conversations to installations using storytelling, murals, fashion, and more to evoke ancestral powers that seed community futures.  As an immigrant and child of refugees, Ka is driven by exploring previously unimaginable possibilities to forge cultural innovation and community futures inspired by ancestral lineage. They have worked at the intersection of art, organizing, and social movements to produce platforms for their communities to thrive. Ly founded ArtCrop, a cultural research and residency project combining community-supported art and farming that has since bloomed into Ua Si Creative, an artist collective that invites play to create more meaningful community engagement through art and culture by centering BIPOC communities.
