Samantha Galarza is a bilingual (English/Spanish) SAG-AFTRA screen actress, writer, performance artist, educator, and podcaster. As an art-ivist, her work explores queer identity, femme-phobia, intergenerational trauma, migration, internalized racism, substance abuse and policy that affects historically marginalized communities. She has written/performed original works throughout the country and internationally and her writing has been published in award-winning anthologies. Sam is co-founder of the queer performance art collective A Beautiful Desperation and co-founder/co-host of the podcast Latinas en Queerantine. She’s  alumna of Rutgers University and a fellow of the NALAC Leadership program, EmergeNYC, La Pocha Nostra, EmergeLab and Take a Breath residency.
